RUGGIERO IN “ALCINA” at the Opera National de Lorraine and Opera de Dijon
On March 11, Kangmin Justin Kim will make his role debut as Ruggiero in Serena Sinigaglia’s new production of Alcina at the Opéra National de Lorraine in Nancy. Leonardo García Alarcón will conduct and the cast will also feature Kristina Mkhitaryan in the title role, Beth Taylor as Bradamante, Suzanne Jerosme as Morgana, Trystan Llŷr Griffiths as Oronte, Leonard Bernad as Melisso and Elisabeth Boudreault as Oberto. There will be five performances running through March 18. On April 15, 17 and 19, the opera will be shown at the Opéra de Dijon in the same production and with the same cast and conductor.
